At the beginning of this month, my brother Andrew Lee sent me an image in the middle of the day with the words “Regional Prayer Meeting” written on it and asked me, “interested?”
My heart skipped a beat.
Honestly, it was an answer to a huge burden on my heart for PIF college ministry as we began this season of lock down in NYC. With no more gatherings and events to fill our days, I believe that now is the time to seek God more than ever before.
During this unique time, I pray that many people would come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior and we would find ourselves in such intimacy with the Lord that when this period of pause ends, we as the church would be ready to receive the outpouring of spiritual revival and awakening in our city.
I believe these weekly Thursday night regional prayer meetings will help tremendously towards this.
This isn’t about these Thursday night gatherings being the exclusive place through which God will work in our city and our region. That’s why we stressed from the very beginning that this is not for a specific ministry, church or organization but believers and leaders of many churches and ministries in our city coming together in unity of Spirit to pray for breakthrough and revival in the midst of uncertainty.
It is a call to faith. If you are available, join me and many other ministries, leaders and churches in our region every Thursday night at 7:00 PM. For more information, you can find it on our Instagram @pifcollege and find the link in our bio.
