The Word of the Cross

There is a stark contrast between worldly wisdom and the divine and eternal wisdom. It is this divine and eternal wisdom that is captured in the “Logos” or the Word of the Cross. By nature, it is counter-cultural, being uncomfortable and offensive and foolish to the wisdom of this world. But it is this “foolishness” that is the power of God for salvation and for the witness of our faith.
